About 

in 1993, Steve started his career in the medical devices market representing Nihon Kohden and other international brands. 1996 he was then headhunted by Hewlett Packard Medical Systems, which became Agilent Technologies and was later acquired by Philips Healthcare. During his time at Philips, Steve was Managing Director and Distributor Manager for Philips East Africa, a subsidiary of Royal Philips Healthcare B.V., with a mandate of opening and transitioning their existing project office into the first commercial office in East Africa. He returned to establish Toshiba and other well-known device companies in East, Central and Southern Africa from 2007 - 2012. 

 

​In 2013, Twende Africa Group (PTY) LTD was founded.  He has taken this understanding of water projects in the African region to develop a unified approach to projects as turnkey solutions. In a short time, TAG Marine has delivered more than twenty commercial vessels around the globe. We have also supplied frozen fish products to Africa and Israel.

Further expanding on the T.A.G. brand is T.A.G. Consulting, T.A.G. Trading and under the Twende Africa Group of portfolios, which will further develop its interests in commercial activities in Africa and beyond.
